Welcome to PenguinZoom ☺

PenguinZoom is a website that changes often. It is mostly a hub for complete randomness. We hope you enjoy everything we put up

So, welcome.

Hello, and welcome. I'm Kohle and I own and maintain this website. First off, you should know that PenguinZoom barely ever has any informational text. Just things I am raging about or something I find cool. I am going to be trying to upload a lot of homemade art, including the comics "Rewind" made especially for PenguinZoom by Eilime. Right now this site is pretty static, and users cannot interact very much. Please be aware that accounts are on the way so you will be able to have your own account, customize your own profile, see other people's profiles, stuff like that. Private messaging might be added sometime later. I hope you enjoy.

Minecraft <3

Oh, Minecraft. An infinite world made up of countless blocks. 6-bit graphics. Cows mooing in the background. How I love thee, Minecraft. I started playing Minecraft about a year and 3 months now, and I have watche dit change so much. I remember when almost everything was added - beds, sandstone (was a big one), redstone repeaters (another biggy), wolves (my personal favorite), and many more. Then there was Minecraft Beta version 1.7.3. That's where it all ended. After then they added hunger, sprinting, hard modes, vines, hideous swamps, retarded shroomcows and shroom biomes, odd looking mobs in the Nether, and then. There was. The End. This ruined MInecraft. In the end there was a dragon. Not a very nice dragon. And not even MInecrafty. It was made of cubes, of course. But there was too much animation. The game just didn't feel that fun anymore. Minecraft was released. Jens took over. This is actually a plus in many cases. Then there was Minecraft 1.1 - languages. Nothing special, but those people in other countries want to play Minecraft, too. Well there they go. Yes, Pirate Speek was added (my favorite) but mob eggs were also added. Place a specific mob egg in creative moed and that mob will spawn. Seems cool, right? It's not. I can only imagine how many servers will close their doors because of this. At least have the option for server owners to disable them. Eggs aren't even logical, not even in the Minecraft wolrd.

Minecraft is also addicting. When I first starting playing, it wasn't the best game I've tried. But I liked it. I kept exploring. Building. Getting mods. Crashing because of my mods. Just playing in Minecraft. Eventually it became an addiction. A horrible, horrible addiction. Now I can't even go more than 10 minutes without thinking about Minecraft. When I play it's like time decides to go faster. What feels like 5 minutes is really 1 1/2 hours. Why is Minecraft so addicting? I believe it is because it is our world. We decide what we do in it. What we want to build. It's not really a game. It's a toy. Like Legos. You never win it, you never beat it, you never stop playing it.

SOPA...

I'm sure most of you have heard about SOPA. I don't want to say things and then be wrong, so here is a basic overview. So, SOPA's aim is to help stop online piracy. But it can do way more than that. Sites that have copyrighted material on them could be shut down, and the owners could face fines. The Internet as we know it would basically be ruined. Read more, on Wikipedia.
